Our History
In 2008, a group of radiation oncologists with extensive backgrounds in radiosurgery opened the first CyberKnife Center in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Conveniently located on the campus of Town and Country Hospital in Tampa, this state of the art facility is equipped to be one of the best cancer treatment centers in America.
Utilizing the latest in robotic technology, Accuray’s CyberKnife is a viable non-surgical alternative for cancer treatment. Usually only available in cancer treatment hospitals, CyberKnife Centers of Tampa Bay makes this powerful Stereotactic Radiosurgery Robot available in the convenience of a neighborhood cancer center.

Randy Kahn, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine & radiation oncology. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania, he received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1984.
Jack Steel, M.D., is a board certified radiation oncologist with more than 20 years of brachytherapy experience. He has performed over 3,000 prostate seed implant procedures.
Harvey Greenberg, M.D., graduated from the University of Chicago with a BS Degree in Pharmacology in 1968 and received his medical degree (cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh in 1972.
Debra Freeman, M.D. completed her undergraduate studies in premedicine and theology at Davidson College, NC, graduating magna cum laude. She returned to her hometown, Gainesville, FL to complete medical school and residency at the University of Florida.
John M. Koval, M.D. is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology. He is a graduate of Loyola University of the South, New Orleans, LA., and received his medical degree from University of Miami School of Medicine in 1975Participating Physicians
