THE FUTURE IS HERE – CYBERKNIFE TECHNOLOGY

The CyberKnife® System is the world’s first and only robotic radiosurgery system, designed to treat tumors throughout the body non-invasively. It has provided a pain-free, non-surgical option for over 200,000 patients world-wide with tremendous success. It is our mission to make CyberKnife treatment available to the broadest number of cancer patients and physicians.

The targeting system tracks tumors while compensating for normal patient movements to minimize radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

X-ray sources take images and compare the CT scan data to check that radiation beams are locked on the tumor.

The linear accelerator generates high-dose radiation beams, which reduce treatment time.

Patients lie on a treatment table for 30-60 minutes while the robotic arm moves around them, delivering radiation with pinpoint precision.

WHY DO PATIENTS CHOOSE CYBERKNIFE?

Tomorrow’s Technology, Today.

The CyberKnife System was cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1999 to treat targets in the head and base of the skull, and in 2001 for treatment outside of the skull. Since then, hundreds of thousands of patients have been successfully treated with the CyberKnife System.
